Our Journey

Our family’s baking journey began in the 1980s when we initially focused on creating traditional baked goods. However, as the demand for healthier diet options and nutritional consciousness grew, we recognized the need for specialized products catering to individuals with diabetes and those following specialized diets. In 2001, we embarked on a transformative journey by reformulating our recipes and reinventing ourselves.

In 2003, after extensive research and development, we proudly introduced the first zero-net-carb bread in the United States. Our groundbreaking achievement was met with enthusiasm from customers seeking healthier alternatives.

In 2011, we developed a second zero-net carb recipe using resistant starches, otherwise known as RS4. Resistant starch made it easier to reformulate and manufacture our new recipes. This marked a turning point for us, as we realized the potential to cater to a broader range of dietary requirements (Keto, Low-Carb, Low-Calorie, and more). Our product line expanded to include various delicious options, including pasta, bread, sweets, and gluten-free products.

In the beginning, we sold our products under our own brand. Throughout the course of our business, we found reliable and honest distributors that we partnered with and still provide private labels for our baked goods.
